I submitted my meter reading, how does the correction work?

As long as no smart meter is installed, we use your meter reading as the basis for billing.
If the meter reading reaches us by the 1st day of the following month, it is directly taken into account for the current monthly bill. Otherwise, billing is initially based on an estimate. This estimate is based on the annual consumption you specified when you concluded the contract. As soon as your meter reading is available, billing is automatically corrected in the next monthly bill.
We estimate your quarter-hour consumption according to an established standard (standard load profile of the Federal Network Agency) and offset it against the exchange electricity price in order to determine a weighted average price for you.
