Product FAQ
How should the device be stored?
For long-term storage, discharge the battery to 30% and charge it to 60% every 3 months. If the battery level is below 1% after use, charge it to 60% before storage. Keeping the battery at a low charge for extended periods may cause irreversible ...
Winter operation precautions:
- Keep the device dry and avoid frost or freezing conditions. - Regularly check cable connections and waterproofing. - If the device is unused for a long period, it is recommended to recharge it every 2–3 months.
Does it support Home Assistant?
Yes.
What is the purpose of the RJ45 port on the device?
The RJ45 port supports RS485 communication and will enable real-time RS485 communication with the upcoming Smart Meter 3CT-S / 1CT-S.
How does a smart meter help achieve “zero energy waste”?
The smart meter dynamically adjusts power based on real-time household load, matching electricity generation with consumption and avoiding energy feedback waste.
How does a smart meter work?
A smart meter can monitor the household’s total electricity consumption and the direction of current in real time. When household power demand increases, it automatically raises the discharging power; when demand decreases, it lowers the output. This ...
Which smart meters can SolarFlow 2400 AC+ work with?
It can work with Zendure Smart Meter 3CT, Smart Meter D0/P1, Shelly Pro 3EM, Shelly 3EM, Everhome Ecotracker IR, and HomeWizard P1 Meter, enabling automatic power adjustment.
Can the AC off-grid port be used when the device is not connected to the grid?
Yes. The AC off-grid port can operate normally even when the device is not connected to the grid, with a rated output of 2400 W and a peak output of 3600 W (200 ms).
Does it support EPS functionality?
Yes. When the device detects a grid power outage, it automatically switches to supply power to loads connected to the AC off-grid port from the battery, providing backup power.
Can the PV panels and battery supply power simultaneously?
Yes. The maximum combined charging power is 2400 W.
Built-in battery capacity:
2400 Wh
Which battery models are supported?
Supported battery model: AB3000L Up to 5 additional batteries can be stacked.
Can the AC off-grid port be connected to a fuel generator?
NO. The AC off-grid port is only for supplying power to loads. Do not connect a fuel / diesel /gasoline generator or any grid-mimicking power source, as this may damage the device or pose a safety risk.
Can the AC off-grid port be connected to a PV inverter?
Yes. This port supports connecting PV microinverters with rated power ≤ 2400 W to provide energy input to the device. However, it will only function when the device is connected to the grid.
How to integrate with an existing home PV system?
When a Zendure CT or smart meter detects excess electricity from an existing PV system feeding back into the grid, it sends a charging command to the SF2400 AC+, prioritizing storing this surplus PV energy in the battery.
What are the requirements for the installation environment?
1. The device can be installed indoors or outdoors, but direct sunlight and rain exposure should be avoided. 2. Ensure that the device is within Wi-Fi coverage. 3. Leave at least 15 cm of space above the unit and at least 5 cm of ventilation space at ...
Is a Wi-Fi connection and the Zendure App required?
Yes. The Zendure App is required for system setup, selecting operating modes, and remote monitoring. Please ensure the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network for real-time data synchronization.
Does it support self-installed grid connection?
The SF2400 AC+ supports plug-and-play, user-installed grid connection. If you want to connect this product as a non-plug-and-play device to the distribution board to participate in feed-in tariff settlement, a certified electrician must hard-wire it ...
Can it be connected to PV panels?
The SolarFlow 2400 AC+ cannot be directly connected to PV modules, but it can be used as an AC-coupled storage system for an existing PV system.
